How the application works::

After launching the application the tool will always come up with the latest news it captured. This can be a company press release, some discovery news, a golddrivers alert, an editorial..etc…
The pop-up is accompanied with a soft notifying bell which can be turned off
The news in the pop-up can be clicked upon and you will be redirected to the mentioned news
The pop-up disappears after 5 seconds
After the pop-up has disappeared nothing will be visible anymore except the golddrivers logo in the task-bar.
When the end user wants to see what kind of news has passed during the day, all one needs to do is to click once on the golddrivers icon in the taskbar
A bigger pop-up window appears which lists all news items chronically.
This pop-up form is resizable according to the end user’s wishes. Also the column headers are resizable..
The pop-up window can be closed just as any other window or by clicking the golddrivers icon once more again
The pop-up form displays all news items of today..At 12:00 PM the form will be cleared…
When you right click the golddrivers icon in the taskbar a menu appears that allow you to quit the application or to turn off the notification bell..

The menu is enhanced with all categories so that the end-user can configure the tool according to his own needs…Regarding company news an option will be available in order to select those specific companies the end-user wants to be alerted on..
The end user won’t be able to hide the sponsor news and sponsor messages.
The header of the pop-up form will be filled with sponsor logos with corresponding links to their own web-sites

Q: How can I configure the Desktop Tool in order to tell it what I would like to be notifid on?

A: The Desktop Tool can easily be configured by right clicking the golddrivers icon in the taskbar. A configuration menu will appear. Just click on Categories and select what you want to see or deselect what you don't want to see, see screen-shot below:

Q: Now how does a notification look like?

Q: How long the pop-up will stay on top of my taskbar?

A: The pop-up dissapears after 5 seconds

Q: But what if I missed a few pop-ups? For example, I've been away from my desk for
two hours, how can I retrieve the pop-ups that I've missed?

A: That's very easy! All one needs to do is to click once on the golddrivers icon in the taskbar.
A bigger pop-up window (form) will appear which lists all news items in a chronicle sequence.
All listed items contain a link to the corresponsing news.

Q: Can I just close this form without closing the application?

A: Yes, you can just close the form, or just click the golddrivers icon in the task bar once again.
The form will dissapear but the application still runs. The application won't be closed until you
right click the golddrivers icon in the taskbar and click 'QUIT'

Q: If I don't close the form, will it be automatically updated upon the next pop-up notification?

A: Yes it will, the form has an auto update every single minute

Q: Is it possible to see the bigger pop-up form immediately instead of the little taskbar notifier?

A: Sure you can! The Desktop Tool can notify you through the little taskbar notifier or through the bigger pop-up form. Just right-click the golddrivers icon in the task-bar and a menu appears. Here you can select which notifier you would like to be enabled, see screen shot below:

A: The GoldDrivers Desktop Tool requires Windows XP or Vista in order to run.

Q: Where can I down-load the GOLDDRIVERS Desktop Tool?

A: You can down-load it by clicking the DOWN-LOAD image below. After down-loading and installing the application will ask for an 'License Key' in order to start the application. You can obtain an 'License Key' by submitting your e-mail address in the form being displayed and then click on the 'Request' button. A 'License Key' will then be send to the submitted e-mail address.
